i have to say that the advertising campaign is genius, but the people testing the product are retards…..
….. shreddies is still a square, but by calling it a diamond shows the humor in the advertising campaign. people are attracted to new and luxurious things, thats how the diamond takes effect. its still the old great tasting cereal. the testers in your clip probably never had shreddies before, which is why they’re confused. with a little thinking most people would see that its also a square. its just a way for people to remember shreddies as being the tasty cereal they once had. its a diamond

I do have to say though, that it is smart advertising. Their making the old new again with out having to shell out tons of extra cash. Plenty of people are dumb enough to believe it.
