lol , haha nice
thanks
BLOW ME
great vid. but i dont agree with the fact that your points should be in order frmo most importanty to least important. heres a better order:
1. second most important
2. least important
3. most important
most people, when reading an article or viewing a presentation remember the end better then whatever they heard before it.
B.S. to try and compare to Steve Jobs… They practice for days, and they have a teleprompter at the bottom of the stage. As far as loading with images, easier said than done for most powerpoint users. The clip art sucks, and most people cannot tell a story with one image. Not that its impossible, just not gonna happen when you have deadlines.
Great, Thanks for sharing
so do I =D
i just needed it for homework
Wow, so images tell more than bullet point sumary, cool. But for the old fashoned teachers who think that they shoud see bullet points on a power point presintation to make it complete, not a good idea. I’m gonna give it a try.
It’s be interesting to see how many people are using their blackberries/tweeting during large business conferences. Probably not the best compliment for a speaker!
We should send this to Xzibit!!
It’s amazing how a powerful image can convey so much more that a list of bullet points on a slide.
I feel a lot more comfortable with my presentation I’ve got to do now.
definitely agree with images being more powerful than words!
This guys great – makes public speaking seem so exciting!!
these images are fantastic!
this is going to be really useful – cheers!
Have a presentation this monday all of this is the truth and will help a lot! thanks guys
Ha ha ha, I never though I would be be amused by a video on Powerpoint.
If only some of the presentations I have suffered had watched this video.
I am an apple user and have just started using Keynote…debating the pros and cons of both!
Great advice and great speaker.
Pimping advice, powerpoint can be so bad, so this really is good advice !
I like Andy Bounds take on Powerpoint and I also completely agree on the part where he says do not give out copies of your presentation, as it does make your audience lose interest. Best of all, his advice is very down to earth and easy to understand. That’s what I like
No frills attached!
Yep – and looking forward to a new weekly series with iStockPhoto as well
Jobs is a great presenter… the i-phone launch presentations is here on YouTube – well worth checking out for anyone speaking to an audience.
Less is more!
Andy Bounds gave 8 great tips about how to “pimp your powerpoint” something I think is becoming more and more essential as presentations become electronic. I also loved the spin put on the show similar to MTVs Pimp my Ride
