I’m currently going to school for HR management and I’m wondering if I should also get a marketing certificate to help m chances of employment. Would it help me at all in my career or is it irrelavent?

Anything you can do to set yourself apart will be a positive.
However, you may want to consider a certificate in something more closely related to the HR vertical. Project management is one option. Leadership could be another.
Marketing is good if you’re interested in marketing, though you probably won’t use too much of that information in the HR field.
Even contract management could be useful since you’ll be in charge of several programs like healthcare options, dental insurance, etc.
That said, I’ll reiterate my first comment, do whatever you can to set yourself apart, it can’t hurt and you’ll only learn more.

Hi there , I saw your question and just had to respond. I was confused and searching for a way to make money online too, so I could replace the job I was downsized from. I tried a ton of different programs with very little results. I finally landed on an opportunity where I have been able to see results and income very quickly.
I wish I had this information when I first started looking for ways to make an income. WOW! Who knew you could make money even if you are new to a home business, that you can earn while you build your business and skills! It’s actually possible.
